Money Mindfest Starts Today – Free Online Event

Just a  reminder that the new Money Mindfest (hosted by Learning Strategies and Joe Vitale) has now started, so you can listen it to right away. I mentioned it in my last newsletter since this Mindfest ties in really well with the newsletter article I shared about getting aligned with your desires.

The whole Mindfest is free.

This Mindfest is about how to create more abundance in your life. Today’s session is about the Law of Creating… a step beyond the Law of Attraction.

Why is it free? Learning Strategies gives away the material for free over the course of a week, and then people can buy the recordings afterwards if they want to own a copy. Since the whole course is try-before-you-buy, it only works for them if the quality is superb and people want to own a copy afterwards. It’s a nice win-win arrangement. You get to listen to the whole course for free… and only think about buying it if you really love it.

One new Mindfest session will be posted each day of this week (6 days total), starting at 8am Pacific time (11am Eastern). Each audio session can be streamed for free for about 24 hours. After that, the previous day’s session is taken offline, and the next day’s session becomes available.

You also get a free Paraliminal to listen to each day. Today’s Paraliminal is called Abundant Money Mindset.

A typical Mindfest session is about 30 minutes, so it’s an easy listen… fits nicely into a lunch break.

Joe Vitale is hosting this Money Mindfest. I’ve known Joe for a few years, and we get along really well because we have similar styles of learning from exploration, acting on inspiration immediately, and being prolific writers with a focus on providing value for people. I think you’ll especially enjoy his contagious enthusiasm. He’ll definitely challenge you to start thinking about money and abundance in different ways.

You can listen to today’s session right now. This is a great way to start off your week with positive insights on abundance and creativity. Enjoy!

You can get free access here: Money Mindfest

Effortless Success Mindfest – Free

Learning Strategies is hosting yet another Mindfest that you can listen to online, and like their previous Mindfests, it’s completely free. They’re really on a roll with these…

This one is called the Effortless Success Mindfest, and it’s a streaming version of an audio program from Jack Canfield.

I listened to this full program on CD several years ago. I liked it and was considering recommending it on my blog, but at the time I felt the price was just too high. There were many LoA products that were introduced after the movie The Secret became a hit, and some of them were priced pretty high. If I recall correctly, this program was selling for $800+ back then.

I couldn’t see too many people in my audience paying that much money for a program like this, even though it was of good quality, so I didn’t recommend it back then. But now that it’s available for you to listen for free, I’m happy to suggest that you check it out. For free, it’s a no brainer.

Jack and I normally hang out at leadership retreats twice a year, so I’ve had the chance to get to know him a bit. One thing I can tell you about him is that he’s a seriously dedicated lifelong learner. He’s read thousands of books in this field — including mine — and he’s constantly refreshing his thinking with new ideas.

I also like that he’s a very heart-centered and playful guy. He clearly enjoys his work and has a lot of fun doing what he does. While he’s had a lot of success and fame, especially with his Chicken Soup for the Soul books, The Secret, and The Success Principles, he’s also very down to earth.

The last time we talked, he asked me about my motivations for doing what I do. I told him that I really don’t care about money or success or fame. What I love most is learning, growing, connecting, and sharing, and making a positive difference in people’s lives. I love seeing the ripples of this kind of work spreading around the world.

Jack told me his motivation is much the same. He also really likes to stretch himself. Many years ago he worked with W. Clement Stone, and Stone’s influence helped Jack to start setting bigger goals — like making the Chicken Soup books into one of the most successful franchises in history.

Jack is also a very authentic and laid back communicator. His style is very relaxed and mellow — about what you’d expect from someone who lives in Santa Barbara.

If you’re looking for a really hardcore, left-brained, step by step program, this isn’t it. This program is centered around sharing personal lessons, observations, anecdotes, stories, and success habits you can put into practice.

It’s been a while since I listened to this program, but one thing I remember about it was that Jack shares many specific habits that he uses to stay focused on his goals and moving forward with action, such as the Create Your Day meditation and the Rule of Five. You can see the full list of topics on the Effortless Success Mindfest website.

If you’d like to deepen your understanding of the Law of Attraction, learn practical success habits, clarify your goals and intentions, and get help staying focused, then I think you’ll really enjoy this program.

If this sounds good to you, you can sign up at Effortless Success Mindfest and start listening to your first lesson right away. You’ll also receive an email reminder to let you know when the other lessons are posted.

If you have any difficulties getting access to the course, just drop an email to info@learningstrategies.com, and they’ll be happy to talk you through it.

Enjoy!

Last Day to Listen to the Mindfest for Free

Just a quick reminder that your free access to the Ultimate You Mindfest (a free online personal growth audio series) ends on Monday morning, so if you still want to listen to it for free, this is essentially your last day to do so before it converts to a paid-only program.

You can still get access to all 6 sessions and the bonus session until Monday morning at 7:30am Pacific time (10:30am Eastern) for free. After that you would have to purchase the recordings. The recordings are on sale through July 1st, after which the price will increase.

Even if you haven’t listened to any of the Mindfest sessions yet — and if you haven’t, the Mindfest includes a session on overcoming procrastination just for you — the entire program is available online now, including free access to a half dozen Paraliminals. So if you still want to listen to it for free, it would be wise to do so now. Each session is about 30 minutes, so you could go through the whole program in a few hours. It’s not a bad way to spend part of a weekend.

This Mindfest has been extremely popular with my blog and newsletter readers — tens of thousands of them have signed up to listen to it — and the feedback about it has been terrific. So due to its obvious popularity, I’ve been giving it a lot of attention to make sure people who could benefit from this don’t miss out. It’s not particularly difficult to take advantage of something that’s free.

You can get free access to the Mindfest here: Ultimate You Mindfest

And you can see my blog posts about it here: Free Online Event – Ultimate You Mindfest and Ultimate You Mindfest Update

I listened to the entire Mindfest and quite enjoyed it. I also re-listened to the first session this morning and got more out of it the second time.

While many of the core ideas in the Mindfest weren’t new to me, I still find it valuable to reinforce these ideas. Being exposed to similar ideas in new ways helps me understand them better. I also feel a renewed call to action each time.

The main idea I got from the Mindfest was the importance of subconscious training. I’ve been using Paraliminals for this since 2006, but the Mindfest also gave me the idea to make the habit even more personal.

A few days ago, I decided to type up some personal affirmations — positive, present-tense statements to reinforce inspiring goals, desires, habits, relationships, and more. I ended up with a list of 152 items. This list includes items like I use my time well; I keep my technical skills fresh and sharp; and I create, maintain, and enjoy a rich and rewarding social life.

Then I used a voice recording app to record them with my iPhone. Most smart phones come pre-packaged with such apps. It took 10 minutes to read the list, so this produced a 10-minute recording.

Now when I have some extra time, like when I’m driving to the gym or going for a walk, I listen to my recording. I aim to listen at least once a day. The first day I was able to listen to it about 6 times, so once a day is definitely doable.

The idea here is to program these ideas more deeply into the subconscious mind. You can think of it as a form of self-hypnosis.

You don’t even have to consciously listen. You can tune out and let your subconscious process the information while you’re doing something else such as cooking, eating, exercising, driving, etc.

Since advertisers are trying to drill their messages into your subconscious mind with repetition to alter your behavior, like making you order a Coke with your meal, why not use this process to condition your own consciously chosen desires and behaviors?

I think the Paraliminals are a nice companion to this approach. There are Paraliminals on many different topics, and they’re excellent in my opinion, but you’ll always have some interests and desires that aren’t covered by them. I also like the idea of packing every positive idea I can think of into a single recording.

I’ve used this method in the past, and it really does help. What happens is that you start modifying your behaviors in subtle ways over time, and you also start noticing opportunities that you might otherwise have missed. Paul shares some incredible examples of this in the Mindfest.

If you listen to some or all of the Mindfest, I think you’ll also get a sense of just how much power your subconscious thoughts and behaviors are wielding over your life. The good news is that you can use your conscious mind to alter your subconscious inclinations, so that your automatic behaviors are aligned with your goals and desires. This means less frustration and overwhelm. When your subconscious is on your side, you feel like you’re in the flow. You decide to do something, and you soon catch yourself doing it.

Paul does a great job of explaining these ideas with stories and examples, so the Mindfest is an easy listen. Even if you can’t listen to the whole thing, I’d suggest you try to squeeze in at least a couple of the lessons, perhaps Day 1 and Day 6 at a minimum.

You can even access the Mindfest on your cell phone, so listen to it while you’re out running errands if you’d like.

You can sign up and listen right away at the Ultimate You Mindfest page. Once you sign up, you’ll be emailed the instructions to access the recordings. It’s very straightforward.

If you have any technical issues with the Mindfest, please drop an email to info at learningstrategies dot com, and I’m sure they’ll be happy to help you out. As far as I know, there haven’t been any notable technical problems with the Mindfest — the technology worked great — but occasionally people have browser issues that need to be corrected to get access.

Have a terrific, growth-filled day!

Update: Free access to the Mindfest is now closed. This was a very popular event. If you wish to purchase the recordings, they’ll be on sale through July 1st. Learning Strategies says the price will increase on the morning of July 2nd.

NLP Mindfest Recordings Available

The 10-day NLP Mindfest hosted by Learning Strategies ended a week ago. I was informed that about 65,000 people listened to it, including thousands of StevePavlina.com readers. The turnout significantly exceeded their expectations, so this program was quite a success.

For anyone who missed it, Learning Strategies is now offering recordings of all the sessions, either on CD or via digital download for $148. For 20 sessions that works out to only $7.40 per session.

They’re offering the CDs for a very short time only, just till the end of the day on Friday (September 30th). After that the CDs will no longer be available. The CDs include a very nice 3-ring binder, which is typical of Learning Strategies’ products. If you’d like to pay in 3 installments, they provide that option for a small surcharge.

You’ll also get copies of the handouts that were used in the Mindfest.

If you’d like to order the NLP Mindfest (CDs or via instant download), you can call Learning Strategies toll-free at 1-866-292-1861 or order online.

The Mindfest comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

The benefit of the recordings is that you can listen to your favorite sessions more than once. With each pass you can focus on using the processes and closed-eye exercises to make different improvements.

If you ever lose your Digital Downloads, Learning Strategies guarantees that you’ll always be able to download them again at no additional charge.

The Mindfest includes 20 audio sessions with tools and techniques for quickly making changes in feelings and behaviors so you can conquer fears, eliminate bad habits, think more creatively, influence others, enhance your relationships, and improve your performance in just about anything you do, from playing sports to building a business.

Each session is about an hour long. So that’s 20 different experts sharing techniques for making changes.

The programs are commercial free, so there are no advertisements or excessive plugs for the authors’ other products. The focus is on providing value you can use right away.

Here’s a list of the different sessions in the Mindfest (provided to me by Learning Strategies):

1. Mind Mastery: How to kick negative thoughts out of your life

2. Brain Switch: How to erase anxiety and boost success

3. Influence vs. Power: How to quickly build connections with others

4. Our Future Leaders: How to reduce fears in children

5. Ultimate Motivation: How to achieve an extraordinary and healthy lifestyle

6. New Life: How to control diabetes and weight

7. Missed by the Masses: What you should know to be more successful

8. Stop the Sabotage: How to uproot nasty habits with ease

9. Game Day Nerves: How to live without performance anxiety

10. Change Catapult: How to self-coach yourself to significant achievement

11. Word Mastery: How to be clear, persuasive, and charismatic

12. X-Ray Listening: Decoding the language of the unconscious mind

13. Winning Strategies: How to use unconscious programming to change your life

14. Living Brilliantly: How to find your personal “sweet spot”

15. Huna & NLP: Ancient and modern keys to well-being

16. Story Time: The truth about your success, relationships, and happiness

NLP Mindfest (Free)

Learning Strategies is hosting a free online festival for people who want to learn more about personal growth. It’s called the NLP Mindfest, and it starts on September 12, 2011 and runs for 10 days.

Since this program hasn’t started yet, I haven’t seen it. But I wanted to let you know about it for two reasons. First, it’s totally free. And second, I’ve recommended other programs from Learning Strategies such as PhotoReading and Paraliminals, and I know they’re sticklers for high quality, so I don’t feel any hesitation in letting you know about this festival.

The NLP Mindfest is a series of online audio programs. Each one is about an hour long, and they’re releasing two programs each day of the Mindfest. So that’s 20 different experts sharing techniques for making changes.

The programs are commercial free, so there are no advertisements or excessive plugs for the authors’ other products. The focus is on providing value you can use right away.

One unique aspect of this program is that there’s a good chance you’ve never even heard of the experts who are participating in the Mindfest. Apparently this was intentional. Learning Strategies didn’t want to create yet another me-too program. They opted to put together a collection of experts who are better known for their methods and teaching than for their sales and marketing skills.

I’m sure you’re looking for the catch, so here it is: The programs are only available for free during the Mindfest. You’ll have a 24-hour window to listen to each of them. If you want copies to listen to again later, you’ll have the option of buying the whole set afterwards. I think you’ll agree that’s a pretty minor catch. If you just want to listen to all the programs for free and not buy anything, you can do so. It’s all try before you buy.

17. Social Media: How to use NLP to create sales on the Internet

18. Awareness: The answer to every life problem that actually has an answer

19. Powerful Clarity: Make better life decisions

20. Mending the Wounded Learner: Conquering the fear of learning

Here are the details on how the Mindfest works.

Starting on Monday, Sep 12, each day at 9:00pm Eastern time (6:00pm Pacific time), two new programs will be posted online for you to listen to.

You’ll have 24 hours to listen to these programs… until the next day’s programs are posted. During that window you can listen to the programs as often as you wish. So you don’t have to tune in right at the program posting time if that’s not convenient for you.

Sign up online if you want to attend the Mindfest. A few days before it begins, you’ll receive an email with the full schedule and web links. Then just visit the website to listen to the new programs as you desire. You shouldn’t need any special software or browser plug-ins.

As soon as you sign up for the Mindfest, you’ll also get instant access to a special introductory session with Paul Scheele and Marilyn Devonish. This session will give you a couple techniques you can use right away. And you don’t have to wait for the Mindfest to start — this session is available right now.

You may have noticed that our upcoming Conscious Growth Workshop (Sep 16-18 in Las Vegas) overlaps the dates of the NLP Mindfest. That would make it difficult for CGW attendees to listen to the Mindfest. To remedy this conflict, I made arrangements with Learning Strategies to provide the NLP Mindfest recordings to our CGW attendees — for free. No catch.

So if you’re attending the September CGW, you can listen to the whole Mindfest for free at your leisure anytime after the workshop. I believe Learning Strategies will be selling these recordings for $148, so this makes for a nice bonus gift. During the week after CGW, I’ll coordinate with Learning Strategies to get your bonus delivered to you.

Please note that this free bonus is only provided for September CGW attendees. If you’re attending a different workshop (SRW, CSW, or CRW), you can still watch the NLP Mindfest live for free.

Since CGW starts in only 15 days, this is meant mainly as an extra thank you bonus for people who’ve already registered. But if you’re still on the fence about going and this extra bonus nudges you over the edge, I certainly have no objections to that perspective. :)

Click on over to the NLP Mindfest page, and you can watch Paul Scheele’s intro video before deciding if you want to sign up for it.
