How to Make Nuts Healthier

The vast majority of people consume roasted nuts rather than their raw counterpart. Having nuts roasted in oil and salted is a delectable treat when compared to the less delicious raw alternative. While dry roasting the nuts could have a positive effect on nuts, it often leaves them lacking in micronutrients that they originally come with.

Instead of roasting the nuts, you can soak them in order to remove the phytic acid and many other toxic aspects of the raw nuts. For people with sensitive stomachs, this can be a great way to increase the number of nuts consumed or just enhance the flavor!
