Sometimes you just need to write out some of the notes that are floating around in your head. Unfortunately, if you’re already in an internet browser, you might not want to wait open your Word or your computer’s notepad function, or to find a paper and pencil. So what do you do? Simply use your browser by turning a tab into a notebook.
Developer Jose Jesus Perez Aguinaga suggests entering the following simple code into your browser’s address bar:
data:text/html,
For many people, it may seem strange to paste something other than a website url into the address bar, but most modern browsers are built to understand commands like this. When you paste in this line of code, you’ll get a blank tab where you can type in anything you want -to put it simply, you’ve turned your tab into a notebook.
