The 2014 Webby Award winners are in, and we are excited to see TED honored in four categories:
In the category Online Film & Video: Events & Live Webcasts, TED got the double stamp of approval as both the Webby winner and the People’s Voice winner. Ditto in the category Mobile & Apps: Education & Reference.
In the hotly contested category Online Film & Video: Variety, we were declared the Webby winner. We’re super excited, though, to see the People’s Voice Award go to Kid President. Because, well, he rocks.
And in the category Social: Education & Discovery we won the People’s Voice award, while the official Webby winner is D-Day: As It Happens.
Congratulations to all the winners of this year’s Webbys. We’re honored to win these awards, and are thinking hard about our five-word acceptance speeches.
